Earns Superior Rating in Food
Safety Audit
Terre Haute, IN – For the third consecutive year, Distributors Terminal Corporation (DTC) has earned a Superior Rating on a Food Safety Audit conducted by AIB International. Results of the 2010 audit were announced in December.
DTC is a third-party logistics company providing warehousing, transportation and value added services in support of its clients' supply chains. The company's President, Andy Hendricks, said AIB's Superior Rating is the highest that can be attained.
"The Superior Rating is recognized by our clients as assurance their products will be handled, stored and shipped using the same best practices as those they follow. It recognizes DTC as an ideal logistics partner to the food industry, providing a suitable environment for our clients' products," Hendricks said.
"AIB International's rigorous audit challenges and improves our operation," he said. "Achieving a Superior Rating for the third consecutive year is a good example of this company's commitment to excellence. We strive to bring value to our clients' supply chains by integrating our services in an efficient, reliable, cost effective manner."
